C-Road kids experience

Kids are a big part of our family here! We begin each service worshiping together as a church family before the kids are released into their age-specific environments. . Leaders meet the kids in the blvd and guide them to their spaces of worship.  C-Road Kids is a dynamic, FUN, safe and encouraging environment where kids love to be! C-Road Kids helps kids explore and experience the amazing life God offers them! In each of our age-specific rooms, and under the care and leadership of our Kid-Min team, kids make friends, laugh, play, sing, discover and celebrate an incredible life with Jesus! The FUN continues in some incredible “Ridiculously FUN” events we offer throughout the year. Some highlights include: My Summer Rocks Summer Camp, Community Fun Fest, Trunk or Treat, and a Community-Wide Easter Scavenger Hunt for kids and their parents. C-Road Babies

Specifically designed for birth to 3 yrs.  C- Road Babies offers a place where caring and nurturing volunteers play with, and pray for your little one.

C-Road littles

Designed for kids from  3 yrs. to Junior Kindergarten. An exciting blend of creative learning, activities, crafts, Bible stories, songs and play that preschoolers love.

C-road kids

Designed for kids Senior Kindergarten to Grade 3 . Kids experience teaching that gets them involved. Big City Studio introduces the Bible to kids through a cast of characters incorporating drama, media, puppets, dance and music. Kids make friends through participation with their small group in wacky and wild games, cooking projects, science experiments and crafts.

Club 45 (offered at the 9 AM service)

Our kids are growing up and 4th & 5th graders just aren't little kids anymore... and they're also not quite teenagers. Club 45 provides our tweens with a FUN, safe place to ask questions, explore the Bible, make friends, and discover God on their own.  Club 45 will meet  Sunday mornings alongside the 9 am service. For special outings and upcoming hangouts, keep your eye on our socials. 

WHAT TO EXPECT

Upon arrival visit our check-in station located at the entrance of the sanctuary open 15 minutes prior to each service. After you are registered, you and your child will be given matching security tags that are unique to your family.  Following the service, you will return to your child’s worship area for check out. We ask that you show your tag to release your child back to you. If your child needs you during the service, we’ll contact you by displaying the unique code from your security tag in our adult worship environment.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do I know if my child is safe?

All C-Road Kids team members have been police checked, trained and approved to work with children. When you check-in at our computer kiosk, you will receive a numbered two-part tag for you and your child. If your child needs you for any reason during service; we will flash your number in the sanctuary and you can find them in their room. Kid Ministry staff will only release your child to the parent/guardian who possesses the matching tag. If you or your child loses your tag, our staff member will ask to check your photo ID.

What if my child has special needs?

If your child has an allergy, special potty training instructions or physical or developmental needs, please let us know. Our desire is to meet the needs of your children in the best way possible.

What do I do in the event of an evacuation?

Please do not collect your child(ren) from Kids Ministry areas. Evacuate with the main service and your children will evacuate with their Kids Ministry leaders. Once we are outside, we will release children to their parents/guardians using our matching tag system.

What is expected of my child at the Zone?

We have a set of 5 rules for FUN:
1. Quiet mouths when a leader is talking.
2. Hands and feet to yourself.
3. Stay in your spot during activities.
4. Remember… we are ALL Friends.
5. You must be picked up by your Parent or Guardian.

Our desire is for your child(ren) to make friends, laugh, sing, discover and celebrate an incredible life with Jesus.

Can my child take food into kids’ ministry areas?

If your child is in our Nursery, you are welcome to pack a bottle and/or snack. If your child has an allergy please be sure that we are aware of their specific needs. Due to COVID, we are not presently providing snacks. C-Road Kids does not have food except on rare occasions (cooking project, special celebrations). Please have your Grade 1- 5 children finish snacks before entering Kid Ministry areas.

Can my child go with a sibling or a friend into a room that is not their age-specific room?

C-Road Kids programming, teaching, games, activities and toys in each area are specifically and carefully chosen and designed for that age group. For these reasons, we encourage ALL children to go to their age-appropriate areas during service.
